Almost there…

Well it’s getting to the point end of the build process. I drove it for the first time recently and it certainly goes well! With a weight of 1204kg and 500hp I suppose it should! If you would like some info re building your own CAV GT40 OZ Edition just

Well the other half of my brakes have arrived from CAV and Jordi has delivered again by manufacturing very professional radial brackets and rotor hats to suit. I am hoping to have it on the road before Christmas so watch this space!

Wilwood 4 pot
When I ordered my demo CAV GT40 OZ Edition the standard brake package supplied with the kit were Wilwoods. Just before it was due to ship out of South Africa I read that some Australian engineers won’t sign out Wilwoods because they don’t have dust seals fitted to their calipers

Finally got around to buying some tyres as looking forward to actually getting this beast on the ground! Like many things there is a tyre shortage in Australia especially for fairly uncommon sizes like my 315/35/17’s on the rear. The 225/45/17’s for the front are easy to find and reasonably

I’m 90% finished but still waiting for my new Wilwood brakes from the US. Wilwood has been snowed under with orders and with hold ups in manufacturing due to Covid it has been a long wait. In the meantime I am finishing off the interior and exterior trim and all
